A Summer night concert filled with desire.

BRENDING PRODUCTIONS is proud to announce the world première of Rijndert van Woudenberg's newest composition: DESIDERATA.

A contemporary classical composition based on the 'Desiderata' by Max Ehrmann (1927). The composer guides the listeners through his musical translation of this world famous poem. The text is of importance to millions of people around the world. It is found hidden in wallets, hanging in toilets and tattooed on peoples backs. Logical when you consider how many people desire an answer to the question: How To Live? 

At sunset the Dutch mezzo-soprano Ekaterina Levental will seduce the audience to seek the answer. 

According to the composer Rijndert van Woudenberg, one does not need to be a great philosopher: 'the text is as a mirror, everyone can find his own answer'. Levental sings the solo whilst playing the harp, accompanied by famed Dutch singers Anitra Jellema, Antje Lohse, Jan-Willem Schaafsma and Mattijs van de Woerd. 

Ensemble Nomad, with 10 of Japan's most distinguished contemporary musicians, are flying over to Europe to perform the premiere of Desiderata in Estonia and The Netherlands.
